It wasn't a very good week to be undefeated. Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Houston all lost for the first time, leaving only Clemson and Iowa unscathed. The loss by the Buckeyes will have the greatest impact on the bowl projections this week, though. They had been projected as the top team in the College Football Playoff, but now they aren't even projected to be the top team in the Big Ten. That team is now Michigan State, which was more impressive than the 17-14 score would indicate in the Spartans' win over Ohio State. MSU still has to beat Penn State next week to earn a shot in the Big Ten title game, but the Spartans look like the strongest team in the league. I say that without meaning...
